Kudu Granadillo Wood, Satin LE (Limited Edition), is a knife from the African Safari Series, limited to 1,000 pieces with serial number 450. It features a stunning Granadillo wood handle secured with mosaic pins and a blade made of Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel. The knife comes with a handcrafted leather sheath featuring an antelope leather inlay, adding of exclusivity. Designed for bushcraft, survival enthusiasts, and hunters, this knife is built to last for years!
14C28N - martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Swedish Sandvik steel mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!
Blade - with Upswept shape, finished with elegant satin finish. Smooth Plain blade was derived with a Hollow Grind, which reduces weight and has good mechanical properties including long sharpness retention. The enlarged protrusion acts as a hilt protecting the hand from slipping on the blade. On the left side decorated with the outline of Africa, on the right with an imprint of the hoof of the Kudu antelope.
Handle - made of Granadillo wood, bolsters made of Asteropeia wood. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfortable grip. In the back of the Handle lanyard hole, an enlarged hole with interwoven paracord. Grips attached to the tang with mosaic pins. On the left side engraved head of Kudu antelope, on the right side outline of Africa.
Sheath - hand-sewn, made of natural leather with an antelope skin insert. The attachment to the belt or the armor allows the knife to be carried in an upright position.
