BF2 CD Tactical Gray Aluminum, Black DLC M390, an upgraded version of the folding knife from the Basic line. Versatile, easy to carry, these are common features of Extrema Ratio 's Basic Folder Series folding knives. An excellent tool as well as an extremely effective full-size folder (full size). Designed for professional use for uniformed services, it works well as an E.D.C. knife. Blade Drop Point made of Austrian Böhler M390 steel with 61HRC hardness. Comfortable aluminum handle.

M390 - martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), hardened between 59-61 HRC, vacuum and cryogenic treatment and double tempering. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) durability of the blade surface is enhanced with a black matte nanocomposite coating, which exhibits the unique properties of natural diamonds, such as exceptional hardness and low friction, also corrosion resistance. It is one of the most resistant coatings to scratches and abrasion that are used in the industry, including the knife industry.

Blade - extremely sharp Drop Point with a clearly marked blade belly. Covered with a black DLC coating. Plain blade was brought out with a Flat grind which provides strength, excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Opened with dual thumb studs in the blade (dual thumb studs) on both sides. Two-stage blade lock: solid Liner-Lock mechanism, combined with an additional manual lock.

Handle - stainless steel liners and anodized aluminum grip grips ensure lightweight and durable construction. The so-called open-backed design simplifies cleaning and maintenance. The sturdy left/right interleaved metal bridge-shaped (“bridge shaped” clip) allows you to carry the knife deep in your pocket (discreetly) in tip-up (tip up) position. It also provides a convenient thumb rest, especially for users who appreciate an inverted grip.
