Paul Munko - an artist, graphic designer and knife designer from Mystic, Connecticut - was fascinated with blades from an early age, taking inspiration from his father, who used pocket knives daily for various household chores. He began to explore knife design, the properties of steel and suitable models for novice collectors. This led him to create his own designs. His designs, such as Cosmos, Mystic, Clairvoyant and Comet, combine functionality with unique style, reflecting his artistic approach to knife making. Paul continues his creative journey, designing knives that not only meet high quality standards, but also stand out aesthetically, reflecting his passion and commitment to the knife-loving community.

CPM MagnaCut - powder stainless steel produced using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process hardened to 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. With CPM MagnaCut succeeded in creating a steel that combines the unique properties of knife steels like no other. The result is a blade material that offers a remarkable balance of wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. There is no other steel on the world market today that offers a comparable combination of superior properties. This exceptional steel is produced at Crucible® Industries' U.S. steel mills.

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) - The resistance of the surface of the wedge and cutting edge is enhanced by a vacuum deposition method used to deposit thin films by condensing an evaporated form of the desired material onto the surface of the workpiece. The coating method involves a purely physical process such as high-temperature vacuum evaporation followed by condensation. The applied coating has a very high hardness which significantly increases the resistance of the blade to rust and abrasive wear.

Blade - Drop Point type coated with black PVD coating. The long cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the opening of the blade with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-Guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. We can also open the knife with a double-sided peg in the wedge. A section of the back of the wedge is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.

Handle - made of solid 6AL4V titanium with a perfectly integrated Thin Line Pattern G10 composite inlay. The chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and the fore finger groove improves grip security. The titanium backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire construction. A single-position, right-handed titanium clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position, with the tip of the blade upward.

Case - the knife is packed in a zippered nylon soft pouch with the brand's logo for safe carrying and storage of the folder.
