The Wrath Tan G10, Beadblasted is a precision-engineered karambit, designed by MUZI Design. It features a curved, claw-like blade made of Sandvik 14C26N steel, which is characterized by high corrosion resistance and the ability to maintain sharpness for long periods of time. 14C28N - martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in a range of knife steels produced by Sandvik's Swedish mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Vacuum & Cryogenic - 14C28N steel has undergone a specialized heat treatment process involving two key steps. Vacuum Heat Treatment - the steel is quenched in a vacuum environment, which minimizes oxidation and ensures more uniform metal properties. This process increases the strength and structural integrity of the steel. Cryogenic Treatment Once heated, the steel is rapidly cooled to extremely low temperatures, often below -148°F (-100°C). This transformation transforms residual austenite into martensite, significantly increasing hardness, wear resistance and overall durability. Thanks to these advanced processes, 14C28N steel delivers exceptional performance, offering both razor-sharp edge retention and outstanding blade durability.
Blade - aggressive, Claw type. The rounded shape of the blade features tremendous cutting efficiency and speed. Plain blade with aggressive tip and strongly curved edge for maximum cutting effects. Finished to camouflage minor scratches from use with Beadblasted. At the ramp (Thumb jimping), thanks to which we can better control the knife, there is a quick opening system, allowing us to instantly retrieve the knife with the blade already open. In addition, we can open the knife with a hole in the Blade or with a flipper. When opened, the flipper creates a mini-Guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. The smoothness of the opening is ensured by the ball bearings used. The whole is locked with the proven liner lock.
Handle - made of G10 composite, a material extremely mechanically durable and almost completely resistant to weather conditions and chemicals, textured for improved grip security. A fore finger groove made on the front improves grip security. The solid backspacer is finished with a finger ring (Back Ring). It prevents accidental release of the knife from the hand and also makes it easier to rotate the folder around the finger, allowing you to perform traditional techniques.
