MF1 EVO D Black Aluminum, Satin is an evolution of the acclaimed MF1 knife. This solidly constructed tactical folder features a blade made from Böhler M390, considered one of the best knife steels. M390 - martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it is characterized by extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Thanks to its high wear resistance, it retains the shape of the edge properly, so that the blade remains sharp for a very long time (requires minimal maintenance). Another advantage is the resistance to “wire” formation during sharpening. Steel with a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) with an admixture of 1.9% carbon (C), 4.0% vanadium (V), hardened to 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steel by Carpenter. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - extremely sharp with a drop point profile and a clearly defined belly. Finished with an elegant satin finish. The blade has a flat grind which ensures durability, excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Double blade locking system: a solid Liner-Lock blade locking mechanism combined with an additional “Hidden Lock” manual lock. A false blade is located on the spine to improve the knife's piercing properties. The knife is opened with a dual thumb stud.

Handle - anodized aluminum grips ensure light weight and structural strength, with a series of holes for improved grip and structural relief. The open-backed design simplifies cleaning and maintenance. A sturdy left/right-handed clip allows the knife to be carried deep in a pocket (discreetly) in a tip-up position. The handle is finished with a window breaker.
