CPM S90V - Martensitic stainless high-alloy tool steel with a hardness of 56-59 HRC with an addition of 9.0% vanadium (V) and 2.3% carbon (C). The high vanadium content promotes the formation of hard vanadium carbides that ensure strength and exceptional wear resistance, and also increases corrosion resistance. This unique steel is designed for the production of high-quality blades and knife blades. Produced by US Crucible Industries using particle metallurgy / Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM). The CPM process produces a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and toughness compared to steels produced by conventional methods.

Blade - sheepfoot type. Finished with a scratch-masking Blackwashed method. The long, strong cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade ensures high durability, while the high, flat grind and wide blade guarantee excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade opening mechanism, which can be opened with a flipper. When opened, the flipper forms a mini guard to prevent the hand from slipping onto the blade. Upper jimping on the back of the blade, a corrugated thumb rest. The whole is locked with a modern Frame Lock with a steel inlay to prevent the lock face from wearing off.

Blackwashed - a finishing method that combines two techniques. Black Coating - coating with a black protective, non-reflective coating. Stonewashed - after the coating is applied, the blade is subjected to a process of “bathing in stones,” which makes minor scratches created during use less visible. The end result is a unique aged look with a matte dark finish that is both stylish and practical.

Handle - molded grips made of titanium 6AL4V. The whole is screwed to a solid backspacer, also made of titanium. The simple, solid construction ensures many years of use. The pivot axis is adorned with a titanium cap (Pivot Cap) in a contrasting color. A single position (right) titanium deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in a tip-up position (with the tip of the blade up). In the back of the backspacer there is a hidden place to thread a safety or decorative cord.
