RKY-01 Yellow PA66 Polyamide, PVD is a robust, tactical rescue folder designed for everyday use. The blade is made of Japanese AUS-8 stainless steel, valued for its optimal corrosion resistance and excellent durability. The PVD coating eliminates light reflections and additionally strengthens the surface of the blade, increasing its resistance to abrasion. The handle made of polyamide PA66 is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage and changing weather conditions. AUS-8 - Japanese stainless steel valued for its excellent balance between strength and ease of sharpening. Manufactured by Aichi Steel, it is characterized by a refined chemical composition, ensuring reliability and durability. The high chromium content makes it corrosion-resistant, while the precisely balanced proportions of molybdenum and vanadium increase hardness and abrasion resistance. The addition of silicon improves resistance to mechanical stress, which translates into the durability of the cutting edge. The hardening properties of this steel enable an optimal balance between the flexibility and rigidity of the blade. Due to its reliability, it is used in both everyday knives and tools intended for intensive use. Often compared to American 440 series steels, it offers similar strength parameters. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) - the resistance of the blade surface and cutting edge is increased by a vacuum deposition method used to deposit thin layers by condensing the vaporized form of the desired material on the surface of the workpiece. The coating method involves a purely physical process, such as high-temperature vacuum evaporation and subsequent condensation. The applied coating has a very high hardness, which significantly increases the blade's resistance to rust and abrasive wear.

Blade - Drop Point type with grey PVD coating. The thickness of the blade and the high, flat grind provide excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The washers are responsible for smooth operation and assist in opening the blade with the pin in the handle or the nail nick. The back of the blade has upper jimping, a corrugated thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid liner lock.

Handle - made of polyamide PA66, a virtually indestructible material, insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. The aggressive texture of the grips ensures a secure grip, even with wet hands. The beveled edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and the finger cutout on the front improves ergonomics. The solid backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and durability of the entire construction. The simple, solid construction ensures many years of use. The single-position (right) steel clip allows you to discreetly carry the knife in your pocket in a tip-down position (with the tip of the blade facing down). On the back, there is an additional blade for cutting belts or ropes, safely hidden in the handle, and a window breaker. There is a loop at the bottom for threading a safety or decorative cord.
