EK-BB-01 Black PA66 Polyamide, PVD is a robust, tactical folder designed for everyday use. The addition of silicon improves resistance to mechanical stress, which translates into the durability of the cutting edge. The hardening properties of this steel enable an optimal balance between the flexibility and rigidity of the blade. Due to its reliability, it is used in both everyday knives and tools intended for intensive use. Often compared to American 440 series steels, it offers similar strength parameters. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) - the resistance of the blade surface and cutting edge is increased by a vacuum deposition method used to deposit thin layers by condensing the vaporized form of the desired material on the surface of the workpiece. The coating method involves a purely physical process, such as high-temperature vacuum evaporation and subsequent condensation. The applied coating has a very high hardness, which significantly increases the blade's resistance to rust and abrasive wear.

Blade - Drop Point type with a gray PVD coating. The thickness of the blade and the high, flat grind provide excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The washers ensure smooth and easy operation and assist in opening the blade with the pin or nail nick. Upper jimping on the back of the blade, a corrugated thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid liner lock.

Handle - made of polyamide PA66, a virtually indestructible material, insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. The aggressive texture of the grip ensures a firm hold, even with wet hands. The beveled edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and the finger cutout on the front improves ergonomics. The solid backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and durability of the entire construction. The simple, solid design guarantees many years of use. The single-position (right) steel clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly in the pocket in a tip-down position (with the tip of the blade facing down). The protruding part of the backspacer can be used to attach the knife to a carabiner or to thread a safety or decorative cord through it.
