Ronin Torii Red G10, Black Powder This elite tactical knife is a tribute to the Green Berets who served at Torii station in Okinawa, Japan, and honors the heritage of the famous C-1-1 CIF (CINC's Extremist Force) unit. Designed by renowned designer Tu Lama in collaboration with Ronin Tactics. The massive blade is made of D2 tool steel, whose properties ensure high abrasion resistance and long-lasting sharpness, making it an ideal tool for intensive use in the field. The blade surface is covered with a black powder coating, which further increases scratch resistance and eliminates unwanted light reflections. The handle is made of durable G10 composite with a precisely textured surface. Its ergonomic shape ensures a secure grip, which increases safety and precision during operation. The design guarantees reliability even in difficult conditions, offering comfort during long-term use. The sheath, made of durable plastic and equipped with M.O.L.L.E. adapters, allows the knife to be securely attached to a variety of tactical equipment. Tu Lam was born in 1974 in Saigon during the fall of the city. From an early age, he experienced the brutality of the communist regime, which separated his family and forced them to flee on an overcrowded boat. After months of drifting at sea and a stay in an Indonesian refugee camp, he found refuge in the United States. He grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina, under the care of his stepfather and uncle, both Green Beret soldiers, who passed on the warrior ethos to him. At the age of 18, he joined the US Army, starting a 23-year career in elite special forces units and participating in missions in over 20 countries. After his retirement, he founded Ronin Tactics, a company specializing in tactical training and the production of equipment for the military, law enforcement and civilians. His life was the inspiration for the character Ronin in the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Spartan Blades - In 2008, in a historic barn in Aberdeen, North Carolina, two retired non-commissioned officers of the United States Army Special Forces - Curtis Iovito and Mark Carey - combined more than 40 years of military experience to found Spartan Blades, a company specializing in the production of high-quality knives for both military and civilian use. D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. Thanks to the high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. A combination of strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high abrasion resistance due to the high content of carbides in the microstructure.
Blade - Trailing Point type, black powder-coated. Long cutting edge with a small belly. Blade thickness ensures high strength, while full flat grinding provides excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The Ronin Tactics logo is on the right side of the blade.
Handle - grips made of G10 plastic, a virtually indestructible material that is resistant to weather, chemicals and mechanical damage. The profiled shape and precise texturing ensure a comfortable, secure grip even with wet hands. The forefinger groove is corrugated to improve grip. The extension at the front forms a mini guard to prevent the hand from accidentally sliding onto the blade.
Sheath - made of plastic, extendable, protecting the blade and part of the handle. Thanks to the M.O.L.L.E. adapters that can be attached to it, the knife can be attached to a belt or equipment in almost any way.
