2138 Ebony Wood, Satin X50CrMoV15 is a classic folding knife that harmoniously combines timeless aesthetics with durability and ease of use. Created by the Portuguese brand MAM - Filmam, Lda., known for more than 150 years of craftsmanship, it demonstrates a thoughtful approach to the design of everyday tools. Blade made of X50CrMoV15 steel offers good corrosion resistance, ease of sharpening and long cutting edge life, making the knife suitable for both kitchen and light field work. The satin finish gives a subtle sheen, while masking signs of use. The solid ebony wood handle not only impresses with its unique grain pattern, but also provides a secure, natural grip. The applied liner lock mechanism increases the level of safety during use. The compact size and classic form make the 2137 model perfectly suited as a universal EDC tool.
X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 57-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% Chromium, 0.80% Molybdenum, 0.20% Vanadium.
Blade - designed for everyday functionality and versatility. The clip point profile with an elongated tip and a gently sloping ridge line allows for precise blade guidance and works well for tasks requiring control - from small kitchen chores to light field work. The X50CrMoV15 steel used is a stainless alloy that combines durability with ease of maintenance, and the flat grind aids in smooth cutting and control. The satin finish not only improves the appearance of the blade, but also effectively hides scratches from use. The blade opens manually with a nail nick, which is in keeping with the traditional nature of the design. A liner lock stabilizes the blade in the open position, ensuring safe use. The whole is a practical solution for users who appreciate simplicity, reliability and classic form.
Handle - made of solid ebony wood , valued for its natural resistance to moisture, durability and unique appearance. Each grip differs in grain pattern, which gives each piece an individual character. The smooth finish makes the grip pleasant and secure. The design is reinforced by a steel ring, providing stability without adding weight, and the ergonomic shape fits the hand well, minimizing fatigue. Rounded edges increase comfort during prolonged work. It is a Handle that perfectly combines natural beauty, functionality and comfort, meeting both aesthetic and practical expectations.

Przeczytaj!
This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
