14C28N - martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Swedish steel mills Sandvik. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. The compound grind used - hollow at the base and flat closer to the tip - optimizes cutting performance and enables smooth distribution of cutting force, promoting accuracy and control of blade movement in everyday tasks. The satin finish adds elegance and masks traces of use, giving the overall blade a utilitarian feel. The button lock system, combined with ceramic bearings, guarantees smooth and stable operation of the blade's unfolding and locking mechanism in all conditions of use. Under the lock button there is a resisting spring, which prevents accidental release of the lock.
