420 martensitic stainless steel rich in 0.15% carbon, containing min. 12% chromium, which offers high hardenability in the 54-56 HRC range as well as strength, toughness, machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds for wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments.
Blade - with a classic drop point profile was made of 420 stainless steel, coated with a uniform black coating to protect against abrasion and corrosion. Thanks to the use of a flat grind, the blade is characterized by good cutting performance and even geometry. The double-sided peg allows the knife to be opened quickly with one hand and works well for both right- and left-handed users.
