Tighe Down Tanto Black Titanium/Black-Yellow Carbon Fiber, Black Stonewashed is the result of a collaboration between WE Knife brand and renowned designer Brian Tighe, who has been creating designs that combine technical precision with modern design. Brian Tighe is a Canadian knife designer and master of precision CNC machining, known for his distinctive style that combines modern mechanics with distinctive design. His designs - from EDC knives to collector's models - are distinguished by advanced geometry, ergonomics. Tighe collaborates with brands such as CRKT and WE Knife, creating models valued for their quality of workmanship and exceptional smoothness of operation. M390 - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), hardened between 59-61 HRC, vacuum and cryogenic treatment and double tempering. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

The lack of structural joints increases mechanical resistance and eliminates potential points of weakness. The surface has been finished with an “orange peel” texture. Black/Yellow Carbon Fiber inserts not only enrich the aesthetics, but also improve the ergonomics of the grip. Handle profiling, subtle milling and refined details ensure comfort and precision in handling. The button lock mechanism used has been discreetly integrated, providing intuitive and safe operation. It is complemented by a deep carry clip, allowing the knife to be carried invisibly in the pocket, and a cord hole, which increases the functionality of the tool.
