Spyderco Native 5 FRN Black/Black Blade PlainEdge Knife (C41PBBK5)

Native 5 FRN Black / Black Blade Plain, the fifth generation of the iconic Native knife produced since 1997 with mainly covered non reflection DLC coating. A light, technically improved folder with an injection-molded handle made of advanced CPM S30V powder steel. Produced at the Spyderco factory in the USA (Golden, Colorado).

Blade - with a Spear Point profile, 3.2 mm thickness. Made of corrosion-resistant CPM S30V, resistant to mechanical stresses, hardness 58-59 HRC. Covered with matt non-reflective DLC (Diamont-Like Carbon) in black color. The blade is hardened in the range of 59-60 HRC. Smooth blade (Plain type) has been brought out with a full flat cut (Full Flat Grind). Textured choil under the finger and corrugated thumb ramp facilitate knife cutting. An enlarged 14 mm round SpyderHole cut-out (Spyderco patent) allows the knife to be opened with the thumb. High-quality (made in USA) lock-block Back-Lock.

Handle - in black color, covered with profiled, non-slip textured (Bi-Directional Texturing) - strengthens the grip even with wet hands. Made of plastic FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), fiberglass reinforced nylon. Metal screw-on clip with the possibility of fixing in four planes (up / down, right / left). 4-way clip positions. In the rear part of the handle an opening enabling the installation of a security cable.
