LionSteel Black Micarta, Fixed Satin Blade (M7 MS)

The M7 Black Micarta, Satin Blade is the largest of the knives made by the Italian LionSteel manufactory, with its Solid® handle. The aim was to create a reliable tool with high portability, designed for all outdoor uses: cutting, chopping, batoning, chopping. An outdoor knife of great resistance, full tang construction with a head of Swedish Sleipner steel.

Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known, respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (aka Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experiments in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.

Sleipner - a chrome-molybdenum-vanadium, high-alloy universal tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance. Achieves high hardness of 60-61 HRC. Manufactured in Swedish Uddeholm steelworks.

Blade - extremely sharp Drop Point with clearly marked belly. Smooth satin Plain blade with Flat Grind, which guarantees excellent cutting properties. Finger choil, an undercut between the handle and the cutting edge, makes it easier to control the knife and also protects your fingers from slipping on the blade.

Handle - in Solid® Knife technology, derived from a unique block (one piece) of 4D-processed waterproof micarta. This results in a lightweight, monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength, which is a strong, solid structural element. The grip facings were CNC machined to obtain an anti-slip texture. On the underside of the handle protrusion / hilt, which protects the hand from slipping on the blade during work. Flat bolt is useful for lighting a fire with a flint, in an emergency it can be used as a hammer or a glass breaker and with a lanyard hole for a rope.

Scabbard - made of kydex combined with abrasion resistant, waterproof Cordura in black. Protects against falling out and facilitates quick retrieval of the knife. Clasp secures the knife against falling out. Compatible with the MOLLE standard, the holster can be attached to the M.O.L.L.E. system webbing. (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) or to be carried on a belt or on an armour.
