Steel
9Cr18MoV - Chinese high grade stainless knife steel blade, easy to sharpen. High content of 18.0% chromium and average 0.95% carbon provides excellent corrosion resistance. The presence of 0.8% silicon and 1.3% molybdenum increases steel strength and wear resistance. 9Cr18MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.
Blade
Drop point type with Black Stonewashed finish. The thick belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards a needle sharp tip. Low blade thickness combined with a high Flat Grind gives excellent cutting performance combined with high durability. Steel ball bearings aid in the smooth opening of the blade, which can be opened with an index-finger flipper that acts as a hilt when opened. This makes it easy to use for both right and left-handed people. To maintain full control over the blade, the back of the blade is covered with upper jimping, notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid liner lock.
Handle
Facings made of exotic Cuibourtia wood, which were screwed to steel liners. In practice this means many years of work without weakening the construction. Clip type deep carry, two-position, for right and left-handed, allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position. Above the clip there is a lanyard hole for safety or decorative cord.
Carrying case
Comes with a zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transport of the folder.
