Chilin Black G10, Stone Washed an undersized, elegant with exceptional ergonomics E.D.C. folder, whose shape is derived from traditional Chinese Shilin Cutters. Designed in accordance with the modern, minimalist style of Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnæs. Lightweight, decorated with refined details, a unique combination of style, functionality and reference to tradition.

Shilin Cutters handmade knives by members of the Chiu family. The history of these knives began in 19th century China and the select few were taught to make them. These folders embody old world craftsmanship, knives that are meant to last a lifetime.

N690Co - cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co) corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with higher cobalt (Co) content in its composition. It features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened in the range of 58-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - wide, drop point type, in the characteristic leaf shape (leaf shaped). Finished with a scratch-masking Stonewashed method. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearings support the opening of the blade by means of an opening accessible from both sides of the wedge. A section of the back of the wedge is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife. The whole thing is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.

Handle - G10 (fiberglass compressed with synthetic resin) facings insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to mechanical damage. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfortable grip. The yellow oxidized backspacer provides rigidity and solidity to the whole structure. The same color is used for the decorative overlay around the pivot. A two-position (right/left) lightweight wire clip allows the knife to be carried in the tip-up position, with the tip of the blade upward. Above the clip a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.
