Merata Black Titanium, Black Stonewashed LE (Limited Edition). Limited edition limited to 205 pieces, knife numbered 010. A large, sturdy folder designed by Anton Tkachenko with a black stonewashed finished blade made of CPM 20CV super steel. Handle in professionally machined black titanium with lanyard hole and titanium clip on the right side. Reasonable weight and excellent ergonomics make the folder seem much more manageable - in hand and pocket - than almost other knives of its size. "Must have!"
CPM 20CV - one of the best tool steels, American premium martensitic stainless steel. Produced by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) method. The CPM process creates a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Designed to provide better wear resistance while maintaining corrosion resistance at the highest level. This super steel is comparable to Bohler's M390 steel or Carpenter's CTS-204P. According to some knife manufacturers, 20CV is the best of these three steels in terms of edge retention. It consists of 1.9% carbon (C), 20.0% chromium (Cr), 4.0% vanadium (V), 1.0% molybdenum (Mo) and 0.6% tungsten (W). The high percentage of chromium with a touch of molybdenum makes 20CV one of the best high-end corrosion-resistant steels.
Blade - trailing point type, finished with a scratch-masking Black Stonewashed finish. The elongated belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp, raised tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the opening of the blade with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper) when opened acting as a stag. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.
Handle - made of titanium 6AL4V. Contouring of the covers eliminates sharp edges. Grips are connected to each other with a titanium backspacer. The surface texture improves grip confidence. The simplicity and robustness of the design give confidence for many years of use. The single-position clip (right), made of titanium, allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position. At the top of the backspacer there is a place to thread a safety or decorative cord. As in other models, the pivot is decorated with a stylized manufacturer's logo.
Case - included is a zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.

Przeczytaj!
This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
