14C28N - Martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Sandvik's Swedish mills . An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!
Blade - hawkbill type with an aggressive shape, finished impressively with Two Tone method, satin-finished grinds, the rest in Stonewashed. The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high flat grind (Flat Grind), gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a double-sided pin in the wedge (dual thumb stud). On the back of the wedge, the ramp is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife. The whole thing is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.
Handle - grips made of G10 composite , a virtually indestructible material, insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. The texture of the Handle, in addition to aesthetic impressions, also has a purely practical use improving grip reliability. Attention is drawn to the contouring, which allows a firm grip in any position. Backspacer, to which the grips are attached, guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. A single-position, right-handed clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position , with the tip of the blade upward. A deep finger undercut (fore finger groove) improves grip security.
