Spyderco Bodacious Sprint Run Knife Carbon Fiber, Satin CPM S90V by Sal Glesser (C263CFP90V)
- Bodacious Sprint Run Carbon Fiber, Satin a hell of a knife designed by Spyderco founder Sal Glesser. Named after the American bull that became famous as “the most dangerous bull in the world.” S90V steel, G10 composite handle.
Bodacious Sprint Run Carbon Fiber, Satin is a limited edition rugged EDC folder designed by Sal Glesser himself - founder and chief designer of the Spyderco brand. Inspired by the legendary rodeo bull, Bodacious represents strength, reliability and uncompromising durability. It's a tool designed for users who demand from the knife not only precision, but also resistance to heavy loads and extreme conditions - both in urban and off-road environments. The centerpiece of the design is a blade made of CPM S90V steel , known for its exceptional strength, corrosion resistance and long retention of sharpness. It features excellent corrosion resistance, high hardness and cutting edge stability, which translates into long-lasting sharpness and reliable performance. The Carbon Fiber composite Handle was developed for durability and safety - regardless of weather conditions or intensity of use. The refined handle layout and solid construction support the ergonomics of the grip and allow full control over the blade. The Compression Lock mechanism used in this model guarantees a high level of safety and easy one-handed operation. Spyderco Bodacious is a knife that will stand up to the toughest tasks - not only as an everyday tool, but also as a partner in demanding field situations.
CPM S90V - corrosion-resistant, top-quality, mechanical stress-resistant, advanced American powder steel with a hardness of 56-59 HRC. High vanadium content promotes the formation of hard vanadium carbides instead of chromium carbides, which increases the steel's wear / abrasion resistance and the presence of free chromium provides excellent corrosion resistance. A premium steel, used in the production of premium blades and exclusive knives. Manufactured at the steel mills of Crucible Inc. (Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM).
Compression-Lock - (similar to Liner-Lock) Blade locking mechanism patented by Spyderco (made in USA). Extremely durable, it provides extreme strength and ease of use. Located on the back of the Handle, it protects the knife from inadvertent locking. When releasing the lock, the fingers are not in the path of the folding Blade.
Blade - made of modern CPM S90V steel . It is characterized by high wear resistance, excellent sharpness retention and excellent corrosion resistance, which makes it extremely effective for long-term use, even in harsh environmental conditions. The Leaf Shaped profile, with its gently rounded backline and wide belly, guarantees cutting versatility, proving itself in both precision work and heavy-duty cutting. The full flat grind used allows the blade to run smoothly through the material and increases cutting efficiency while maintaining working strength. The satin finish adds to the elegant appearance of the blade and effectively masks micro-scratches that occur during daily work. The Spyderhole allows for quick, intuitive opening of the blade with one hand, which significantly increases functionality in dynamic situations.
Handle - full-length, profiled, covered with non-slip grips made of durable, temperature- and chemical-resistant Carbon Fiber composite (carbon fiber compressed under pressure with synthetic resin) screwed to steel liners. The folder is equipped with a screw-on metal clip with double-sided attachment (right/left), which allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position. In the back of the tang, an enlarged hole(lanyard hole) for pulling alanyard or safety line.

Przeczytaj!
This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
